The sustainable management of water resources in the Igarapé Gelado Environmental Protection Area (APAIG) requires the production of technical diagnoses and forecasts to support the protection and recovery of springs and groundwater recharge areas. In this context, the project proposal includes qualitative and quantitative water monitoring and assessment, the implementation of an environmental monitoring network, and the characterization of the socioenvironmental profile of local communities. By mapping vulnerabilities and guiding adaptation or mitigation actions, the project contributes to strengthening water resource conservation strategies in APAIG.
