The project aims to strengthen the value chains of the socio-bioeconomy in the state of Pará, through the recognition and appreciation of traditional knowledge and sustainable practices, promoting the socioeconomic inclusion of local communities and contributing to climate change mitigation. It seeks to identify and analyze the potential for economic, social, and environmental development of communities by studying products and services that have local origins and are recognized by the community. These studies may enable progress towards possible applications for Geographical Indications (GIs) and/or Collective Trademarks (CTs). The initiative aims to promote strategies that enhance territorial appreciation, add value to products and services, strengthen regional identity, and foster competitive insertion in differentiated markets.
