Meliponiculture in Canaã dos Carajás, particularly in the context of the Vila Bom Jesus Community, is structured as an integrated strategy of applied scientific research, sustainable management, technical training, and territorial development. The project includes the development of regional protocols, a technical and production assessment of the activity, and the transfer of scientific knowledge, with the aim of consolidating technical and scientific foundations for the management of stingless bees. Expected results include the implementation of a reference meliponary, the training and technical support of local producers and families, and improvements in quality and diversification of meliponiculture products, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the Amazonian bioeconomy.
