William Whitaker

He has a Major in Mine Engineering at Federal University of Ouro Preto (1997), a Master's Degree in Mineral Engineering at the University of São Paulo (2001), and a specialist diploma in Business Management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (2010). Since October 2015, he has been an assistant researcher at the Vale Institute of Technology Mining (ITV) working in the area of ore treatment and transport phenomena. Previously, he worked in the development process for the treatment of ores, such as aggregates for construction, kaolin, and iron ore. For 10 years, he participated in the conceptions of projects of treatment plants of Iron Quadrangle in the companies CSN and Ferrous, in the phases of elaboration of the routes of processing and process engineering.
