He holds a major and a license in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná (2005) and a Master's Degree in Animal Science from the Federal University of Pará/Embrapa Amazônia Oriental (2008). He has experience in the areas of Ecology, Zoology, Botany, Entomology, Ichthyology, and Zootechnics (mainly beekeeping). He has worked in education, research, extension, and consultancy on wildlife conservation. He works on the "Bees as bioindicators of environmental impact in Carajás" project, using RFID (radio frequency identification) microsensor technology. In parallel, he works in partnership with the Embrapa Amazônia Oriental and Emilio Goeldi Museum of Pará on the topic of the diversity of native bees and trees used for nesting, an important topic for the recovery of degraded areas.
He is currently an Assistant Researcher of the research line "Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services", assigned to ITV Sustainable Development.
