Those interested in participating in the second class of the Professional Master’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control and Automation of Mining Processes of Vale Institute of Technology (ITV) and Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP) may register up until November 14th. The registration has been extended by a week.

About the course:
The course will be held in Ouro Preto (MG), and 22 positions will be offered, ten reserved for Social Demand, ten for external applicants to ITV (CEPE Resolution 6272/2015), one extra position for UFOP technical-administrative servers (Resolution CUNI 4350/2011), and one extra position for ITV MI employees, all of whom must undergo this selection process.
The Master’s degree will have the following lines of research: Instrumentation in Mineral Processing; Analysis and Design of Advanced Control Systems; Information Technology, Communication, and Industrial Automation; Robotics Applied to Mining. Classes will start in March 2017.
ITV’s Master’s Degree is aimed at training specialist professionals and aims to supply engineers with knowledge of the latest instrumental, electrical and electronic technologies used in operations of mining and mineral processing, graduated in Engineering or Computer Science. It is recognized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) of the Ministry of Education and takes two years.
In order to apply for a position, the employee must obtain the approval of his manager and is within the criteria described in the HR – Post-Graduation (NFN-0012E) standard. Inquire with your BP or Manager.
