Andrea Gomes Campos Bianchi
She has a major in Physics at University of São Paulo (1996), Master's Degree and Doctorate in Computational Physics at University of São Paulo (1998 and 2003). She is currently an associate professor I at Federal University of Ouro Preto. She has experience in the area of Computer Science, with emphasis on Image Processing and Analysis, mainly working in the following subjects: computer vision, image processing, and computer simulation. She has projects related to the construction of computational tools capable of investigating images of microscopies in the areas of Materials and Biology. Together with her co-workers, she was ranked First in the Cervical Cell Segmentation Challenge at the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging.
